Eating Facilities:
Food can be purchased from the cafe during opening hours. Additional food and drink is also available at the Bus Port adjacent to the centre. Please note that food is not allowed to be consumed within Wai-con but a cafe area is available outside to all patrons.
Photography Facilities:
The Photography booth is located on Level 1 in the Media Suite. It is accessible from the stairs beside the Southern Entry to the Riverside Theatre. The Photography room will be open to public during regular convention opening hours.
After the Cosplay Competition the room will be attended to by Eugene O’Sullivan from Prince Photography where cosplayers and public may book session time.
Please note that this is the only location cosplayers will be able to take photographs with their props.
Cosplayer VIP Room:
Wai-con offers a dedicated room for Cosplayers. It is located on Level 1 in the VIP Suite (adjacent to the Media Suite). Cosplayers may use this room to freshen their makeup and costumes and make minor and last minute adjustments. It is secluded and away from the public and offers a private bathroom.
Please note that this room is not available to attendees not in costume (though small support crews may be accepted). It is not to be used as a hang-out spot, area to eat lunch, or to leave belongings. If you have questions, please see the volunteer attending this room.
