The Japanese Animation Fans of Western Australia (JAFWA) has been around for more than 10 years. Every Saturday afternoon, except for the first Saturday in the month, or if otherwise noted, the group screens Japanese animation (mostly subtitled in English). The aim of the group is to make people aware that there are forms of animation that are different from the common American cartoons or animated movies.
