Angel Beats (Rated: M)

In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers.

Advanced placement into a school of higher grade proof-reading is determined by the results of the Promotion Test strictly for class type. Ranging from A class with the best facilities anyone can offer all the way down to F Class which is composed of low dining tables, rotten tatami mats and other worn out facilities. Students summon characters with their equivalent test mark scores and use them to compete with other classes.

Canaan using her gift of synaesthesia will strive to complete an as yet unspecified objective.

Tomoya Okazaki has given up on his life. With the death of his mother and being struck by his father, he has developed a very distant relationship with his family. On the way to school, he runs into Nagisa Furukawa – a girl one year older who is repeating school due to illness. As Nagisa’s friends have moved on, she spends most of her time alone. Little does Tomoya know that due to giving the girl company, his life will be turned upside down and shifted in a new direction he never thought possible.

 

Deadman Wonderland (Rated: CTC)

As Ganta Igarashi and his classmates plan for a class trip to Deadman Wonderland, a privately owned prison that also serves as an amusement park, a mysterious red man appears, killing his entire class and thrusting a red stone into Ganta’s chest. Being the only survivor out of the entire class, Ganta is charged with mass murder and, due to the overwhelming, and doctored, evidence against him and no way to prove his innocence, he is sentenced to death and sent to Deadman Wonderland’s prison.

The world has reached the virtual age, where virtual reality has taken over most of the world. Eleven years ago, Yuko Okonogi moves with her family to Daikoku City –  the epicentre of the virtual world. Yuko joins her grandmother’s investigation agency, comprised of children equipped with virtual tools and powerful metatags. She soon crosses paths with Yuko Amasawa, an expert hacker relentlessly seeking to unlock the mysteries of a virus created in the inaccessible corrupted subspace.

The digidestined are to protect the digital world from all threats. This honor was bestowed on seven kids; Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe and T.K.  When they are transported into the Digital World they become befriended by the “Digimon” that reside. These Digimon will become the key in protecting the digital world from the menaces Devilmon and Myotismon. The chosen children will develop an eternal bond and will have to rise to thwart the forces of all digital evil.

As ordered by Haruhi Suzumiya, the SOS brigade are going to hold a Christmas party in the clubroom.  Kyon, a brigade member, goes to school only to find Haruhi not only missing, but no-one knows who Haruhi is and claims to have never known her!  Even the brigade members are acting strange –  Mikuru doesn’t know who Kyon is, Itsuki is also missing and Yuki is part of a completely different club altogether. The SOS brigade is in crisis and only Kyon can put the pieces back together to rescue everyone.

Ryūgamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn’t want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called “Dollars.” Nervous from Masaomi’s stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. From then on, the existence of supernatural cases and a gang called the Yellow Scarves will rise to the surface, and Ikebukuro will pushed to the breaking point.

Renton Thurston dreams of bigger things.  Idolizing his hero Holland he wants to ride the sky and be free. Resulting in the destruction of it, Renton’s life becomes flipped upside down and is invited to the Gekkostate where Eureka and his hero Holland reside.

16-year-old orphaned girl Tohru Honda gets invited to live with one of her classmates Sohma Yuki and his cousins. However, this family has a truly bizarre secret – when they are hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into creatures of the Chinese zodiac. Things only get more extraordinary as Tohru gets closer to this large family. The Sohma curse however is no laughing matter, as Tohru learns that this curse will only reveal more horrible cruelty and heartbreak.

The internet – people use it as a resource for finance, information, even social networking.  But what if there was a website where if you post a grudge at the stroke of midnight the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the depths of hell? Little is known about a girl who lives with her enigmatic grandmother and the three straw dolls that accompany and serve her. If a posting occurs on the website, she will become the Jigoku Shoujo and satisfy the users murderous intent.

Takashi Komuro along with his friends and other allies will have to take up arms and fight their way out of this hell. These are the trials Yuri is going to have to face now that he was been transported there during a routine bullying where instead of just his head getting flushed n the toilet his entire body was sucked in. Yuri will have to figure out what he is going to do in this land where hatred is strength and a slap to the face is a proposal.

When Yui Hirasawa enters high school, she wants to join a club but can’t decide which one is right for her. Fortunately, the Light Music Club is desperate to find another member or they’ll be disbanded! So, with the enticement of delicious snacks and assurance that no musical experience is necessary, Yui joins the Light Music Club. She becomes the guitarist in this all-girl high school rock band with Mio Akiyama on bass, Tsumugi Kotobuki on keyboard and Ritsu Tainaka on drums. Together, they’re going to rock the school and someday make it to the Budokan!

Vampires, the supernatural beings which must suck out blood from others to sustain and continue their life. This particular family of vampires have settled down on the grounds of Japan and the eldest daughter Karin Maaka of this family is a vampire like no other. She doesn’t need blood, in fact she over produces it! For a vampire this is very troubling.  However, she still attends high school and tries to live as a normal student. That is, until a new transfer arrives – Kenta Usui.

 

LASTEXILE –FAM, THE SILVER WING (Rated: CTC)

During a summer vacation at Seto Bay, Nagasumi Michishio is saved by a mermaid -a massive risk in the mermaid race. By law, if a human sees a mermaids true form they are both sentenced to death. The only way to avoid getting killed is through the sanctity of marriage.

Naruto Shippuuden is the sequel of the original series Naruto. This epic tale revolves around Naruto Uzumaki 2 and a half years after the original series ended. Shippuden is all about Naruto’s quest to rescue his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grip of the shinobi Orochimaru.  Naruto bears an extremely strong power within him of which some ninja organisations want to claim for themselves, namely the most dangerous of them all – the Akatsuki.

 

NICHIJOU – MY ORDINARY LIFE (Rated: CTC)

While chasing after a cat that stole her breakfast, Nano runs into a student, blows up, and finds herself up on a roof with a missing arm. Yūko goes through desperate means to keep her octopus sausage from being sullied, while Kōjirō Sasahara makes a scene at the school’s opening ceremony over bringing his goat to school only to be shot and reprimanded by Misato Tachibana and Yūko tricks Mio into pressing the fire alarm.  This series is anything but ordinary!

 

Ninja Nonsense (Rated: M)

What better way to learn the ninja way than secretly try to steal panties? Shinobu is a naive ninja-in-training who, in order to prove her skill, must steal the panties from every girl in her high school.  However at the first target’s house, her perverted plans get thwarted by Kaede Shiranui who catches Shinobu in the act.  Kaede is the voice of reason and the two girls become friends, despite Shinobu’s bizarre sensei trying to get in the way.

Luffy, who has acquired rubber powers by eating the gomu gomu fruit, will have to overcome the toughest enemies (and a rowdy crew!) to fulfil his dream.

The discovery of this device is the catalyst to serious alterations in the present causing such grievous damage.  SERN is tracking them down to take control of the device, while Okabe and Itaru must evade capture and restore stability.

Tenma has fallen for her oblivious classmate but hasn’t worked up the courage to express her feelings to him. She continually tries unorthodox ploys to confess with a frustrating lack of success.
Meanwhile, the class delinquent has fallen for Tenma and is making similar attempts. While this unlikely trio winds their way through the pitfalls of love and high school life, their friends and classmates become caught up in the chaos.

The Divine Empire has risen to power and plans to conquer lands far and wide. On the island of Erin, the Goidelic people are attempting to sacrifice the priestess Riannon to revive the demon king Arawn in order to set up a resistance against the empire. The ritual fails and Riannon survives, however Arawn is still resurrected. They join forces (along with a few more companions) to begin an epic struggle against the Divine Empire.

In a summer once every five years, the demons who reside in mysterious Tower of Druaga lose their powers due to a spell cast by a god named “Anu”. The ruler of the kingdom of Uruk King Gilgamesh, , uses the appearance of demons as an excuse to invade the tower and find out the construct’s secrets.  80 years later, the Uruk army manages to fight back the demons and built a fortress city and safe haven on the very first floor of Druaga – Metz Kier. This is the tale of a warrior named Jil who embarks on a quest for the fabled Blue Crystal Rod, a powerful artifact rumored to be in the highest floor of Druaga. However, other factions, including the kingdom of Uruk itself, will do anything to get to the treasure first.

A “hikikomori” means “a person with acute social withdrawal”. That would sum up Satou Tatsushiro who,  as a conspiracy theorist, firmly believes there is a reason why shut-ins like Satou exist.  Due to this, he creates a theory involving a group called the NHK – an organisation who intends the fill the world with hikikomori.  Satou wishes to break free of the NHK, but cannot as he is too scared to leave his apartment.  That is, until he meets Misaki, a girl who (as part of a personal “project”) claims she will cure him of his anti-social ways.

 

When They Cry (Rated: MA)

On one hot summer day in 1983,Maebara Keiichi transfers to a peaceful rural village in Hinamizawa. There, he befriends his classmates Rena, Mion, Rika, and Satoko. Accepted as a full-fledged member of the “club,” Keiichi and the gang plays all sorts of activities ranging from card and board games to hide-and-seek. However just as Keiichi was beginning to be assimilated in simple rural life, he stumbles upon Hinamizawa’s dark history. As Keiichi dives deeper into the mystery, he finds that his new found friends may not be exactly what they claim themselves to be.
