Covering the pop culture combo of sci-fi, gaming, anime, cosplay and more this Supanova will also be host to Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist), Travis Willingham (Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist) and Laura Bailey (Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist).

  • Where: Robinson Pavillion, Claremont Showground, Perth.
  • When: 10am to 6pm, June 26th and 27th, 2010.  Preview Night June 25th (6pm to 10pm – doors open 5.30pm)
  • Tickets: On sale NOW from Ticketek and at the door.
  • Parking: All-day FREE parking through Gate 5 on Graylands Road (exiting through Gate 8). All foot traffic please enter via Gate 1. The Showgrounds can house up to 3,000 cars on site.
  • Public Transport: Rail replacement buses are in effect on the Fremantle line. Check the Transperth website for the most up to date information.

Wai-con 2010 is upon us! Held over two days at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre Wai-con is set to be rockin’ with guests, panels, screenings, demonstrations and of course two big days of cosplay.

If you haven’t seen the schedule yet, then check it out, because you’ll need to plan beforehand to see everything you want.

This is also your last chance to pre-register for the con. Pre-registration means you skip the entry line in favour of the shorter pre-reg line, and it also offers you a discount to the convention! So really, there’s no reason not to pre-reg! For more information, check out our ticketing page.

And under 18′s please make sure to fill out and bring in your Parental Permission Form, also available on the ticketing page. It would suck if you rocked up without it and had to go home to have your parents sign for you.

So you better be ready, cuz Wai-con is THIS WEEKEND! 23-24th January. Opening Ceremony at 9:30am, doors open at 10. Hope to see you all there!

Where: Starting point will be Supreme Court Gardens, Perth
Time: 10am, dont be late!!
Price: $10 per person (or $20 per team! wow! go maths!)

Its going to be LOADS of fun! We have some kick ass tasks to be completed and prizes to be won when you drag yourself to the finish line! =P this is the perfect opportunity to work out those leg muscles for trotting around Wai-Con!!!

People, people! The Ball is on its way!

So start working on those ball gowns and suits to match our theme this year which is Angels and Demons of course! The ball is a costume ball so go nuts! But remember, you gotta be able to sit down and not decapitate people in the process! Tables are 8-10 if you would like to get together some friends!

There will be music, there will be food (sit down meal) and there will be drinkies!!

So now on to the details cause they is important!
